HOW TO SHUTDOWN YOUR PC WITH A CELL PHONE (MOBILE PHONE)

Hi people, today we will be talking about a simple trick which is “How Turn off your PC with a cell phone”. Now I know that we may have seen this happen in some movies and are surprised on how this is done, you need not to be surprised anymore because, with this simple method I’m about to show you, a user can simply shut down (turn off), Restart, and Hibernate His or Her  PC with a cell phone, whenever the need arises most especially when you forget to shut your PC down before living the  house. Now let’s Get Started….
Note, to do is this; Make sure you have Microsoft Outlook in your Pc or Pc you wish to use, which always comes with Microsoft Office.
Now This is how it is Done.

Step 1:
You need the batch files to perform the Shutdown, Hibernate…. You can simply write it down yourselve.
You open Notepad and write this code the exact way you see it:
c:\windows\system32\shutdown -s -f -t 00
And then you save it as shutdown.bat

Step2:
Open Microsoft Outlook; be sure that you have configured it for your emails. Now we will have to make Microsoft Outlook check your Inbox every One minute (1 minute is for testing time and can be increased if you want a delayed shut down as desired). You Do this by going to Tools> Options and then click on the mail set up tab, afterwards the Send/Receive button. Be sure that the schedule automatic Send/Receive…box is checked and then set the number of minutes to 1 min or desired time.
Step3:
Now you go to tools in Microsoft outlook and afterwards Rules and Alerts and click on the Options button on top right hand corner, now click on the import rules button. And then select the Shutdown.bat file you have created…..tadaaw you have finished setting up your Pc.
So now that you have set up your PC for this, you can now  send an SMS from your phone to your
E-mail address, with the subject Shutdown or shutdown%% and then, your computer will shut down or turn off.

I hope you find these post interesting peeps…….Until next time
